We are proud to offer the industry leading web-based instructional writing application to all 9th-Grade classrooms through The New York City Core Curriculum.
What Is MY Access!®?
MY Access!® is a comprehensive suite that brings superior artificial intelligence and linguistic technologies to the writing process. Students write to assignment prompts (from our extensive bank, or custom created by your educators) while receiving guided feedback along the way to improve the mechanics of writing. After submission, students view a comprehensive breakdown of their writing, allowing them to immediately begin the process of revision. Feedback is presented in over six languages, making the application perfect for ELL and ESL deployments. Teachers and administrators are provided an immediate picture of their student’s activities and development. Educators are given the tools to differentiate their instruction on a classroom or individual level.
Writing becomes a continuous process specifically tailored to foster collective success.
Are We Qualified?
All 9th-grade classrooms in schools that have registered with the NYC Common Core are eligible for MY Access!® licenses.
How Much Will This Cost Us?
Through your membership to the NYC Core Curriculum the program is offered to you at $12.50 per student subscription. Our suite of Professional Development offerings tailored for you is $345 per teacher.
How Do We Apply To Have MY Access!® Deployed In Our Classrooms?
Ordering is through the FAMIS Web portal. Please note, the quantity you order should be the total number of students and teachers using the program. During the ordering process, no additional information will be needed. You can contact the curriculum office at firstname.lastname@example.org for additional assistance or changes during the ordering process.
Do You Offer Any Setup Assistance Or Other Training Resources?
We offer extensive assistance during the setup process and beyond. Our Professional Development Group offers dynamic onsite or virtual seminars designed to transform the educational process, whether it is through the use of the MY Access!® application or in your curriculum as a whole. Currently we’re highlighting:
Part 1: This full-day, hands-on writing workshop provides participants with an understanding of how to strategically set up MY Access!® groups and assignments to create opportunities for differentiated instruction. Teachers will also learn how to use MY Access!® tools, resources, and feedback to support writing instruction.
Part 2: This full-day, hands-on writing workshop develops teachers’ ability to use students’ MY Access!® portfolios as a means for extracting data, analyzing student writing and feedback, and communicating with parents and other teachers. Teachers will also learn how to create custom prompts that align with curriculum and instructional goals.

MY Access!® is a completely Web-based application, and it is designed for a near 1:1 student to computer ratio during use. All computers must meet our system requirements to be able to run MY Access!® effectively.
