IntelliMetric® :: Success Stories
ACT Online Prep runs on the API solution. High school students use the program to practice for the ACT college admissions examination; when an essay is submitted, it transfers to Vantage Learning and is scored by IntelliMetric®. Students immediately receive both a holistic score and analytic scores that corresponds to the domains defined by the ACT; scores are received through the ACT Online Prep program.
ACT, GMAC® and Vantage Learning worked together to incorporate an automated scoring component for the writing component of the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT®). ACT processes the essays and transmits the responses to Vantage Learning, where they are scored immediately by IntelliMetric® and returned to ACT via the API solution.
Using the API solution, ACT's COMPASS system sends students' e-Write examinations to Vantage Learning, where they are scored by IntelliMetric® and the data returned to COMPASS for reporting and storage.
Vantage Learning provides IntelliMetric® essay scoring submitted by The College Board's SATPrep application using the API solution. A student using the SATPrep application submits an essay; the data is transmitted to Vantage Learning, scored by IntelliMetric®, and the scoring data is returned to the application and student.
Peterson's allows examinees to take the GMAT, GRE, TOEFL and ASVAB tests online and collects these essays for scoring. By utilizing the API solution, Peterson can submit the essay portions of these tests to Vantage Learning, where they are scored by IntelliMetric®; holistic and domain scores are returned to Peterson's.
