Professional Services :: Mississippi SPMS Training
Educators throughout Mississippi have told us that they are most effective using the Mississippi Student Progress Monitoring System® (MS-SPMS) when this powerful tool has been integrated into the curriculum and teachers have received comprehensive professional development to support implementation of the program.
The Mississippi Student Progress Monitoring System® (MS-SPMS) offers web-delivered and paper-based assessments that are customizable and fully aligned to the Mississippi Curriculum Frameworks in reading, writing, math, science and social studies. The comprehensive reports available via the program provide detailed information at the student, classroom, school, district and region levels. Reviewing this immediate feedback, educators can quickly determine if students have mastered key academic objectives or if remediation is needed, and can plan instruction accordingly.
Vantage Learning offers a variety of training options to districts in Mississippi that are using MS-SPMS. These options range from onsite training at your district to regional academies conducted at a central location.
Training on the Mississippi SPMS can be purchased directly from Vantage Learning.
Regional Academies
Regional Academies accommodate a smaller number of educators to ensure successful implementation and classroom use of the Mississippi SPMS. By participating in these workshops, educators can attend individual or multiple workshops conducted at conveniently located regional sites. The convenient scheduling and the opportunity to collaborate with other schools/districts offer positive learning opportunities for all participants. Back to topOnsite Training Workshops
By participating in workshops delivered by certified Vantage Learning trainers at the client's location, users of the Mississippi SPMS will develop the competencies needed to utilize this program's many features. Back to topThe CAI Program
